We are looking for a Car Polisher to join our automotive detailing and vehicle appearance team. In this role, you will be responsible for improving, restoring, and maintaining the exterior finish of cars through careful polishing, buffing, paint correction, and surface preparation. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, takes pride in producing high-quality results, and understands how to work safely with polishing tools, compounds, waxes, and protective coatings.
A Car Polisher plays an important role in ensuring vehicles look their best before delivery to customers, after repairs, or as part of premium detailing services. You will inspect paint surfaces for scratches, swirl marks, oxidation, water spots, and other imperfections, then select the appropriate techniques and materials to correct them. This position requires patience, consistency, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship on every vehicle.
You will work with a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars, luxury vehicles, commercial fleets, and occasionally specialty automobiles. Daily tasks may include washing and decontaminating surfaces, masking trim, machine polishing, applying finishing products, and conducting final quality checks. You may also collaborate with detailers, painters, body shop technicians, service advisors, and workshop supervisors to ensure each vehicle is completed on time and according to customer or company expectations.
Success in this role depends on technical skill, product knowledge, and the ability to assess different paint conditions accurately. You should be comfortable using rotary and dual-action polishers, microfiber and foam pads, and a range of compounds and finishing products. Knowledge of paint protection methods such as sealants, waxes, and ceramic coatings is highly valued. Equally important is the ability to follow safety procedures, protect vehicle surfaces from damage, and keep tools and work areas clean and organized.
This opportunity is well suited to someone who enjoys hands-on work, values craftsmanship, and wants to build a career in automotive detailing or vehicle reconditioning. Whether working in a dealership, body shop, detailing center, or fleet maintenance environment, the Car Polisher contributes directly to customer satisfaction and the overall presentation of each vehicle. If you are dependable, quality-focused, and motivated to deliver excellent finishing results, we encourage you to apply for this position.
